One of the coldest area of the camper is without any doubt the cab, and the most critical area is the dashboard with the footrest compartment. Here, there are the outside-inside passages of: wires, tubings, sleeves, etc. ,which are real open doors for cold. With an external temperature of -15°c and an internal over the dinette table of +20° we recorded, in the cab footrest zone, a polar temperature of -5°.
For this reason we designed the dasboard cover COVER-HOOD. Made in 7mm thickness insulating material, specially designed to be easy to assemble in 20 seconds, it covers completely and perfectly the dasboard till the pavement, creating a real barrier against the cold. With the dashboard cover COVER-HOOD installed, we recorded again the footrest zone temperature, obtaining +5°.
